Crystal clear, clichéd,
glistening, glass of
delightful droplets,
from condensing clouds
of mesmerising moisture.
Roaring, running rivers
and restful reservoirs,
I salute you.
Life-giving,
planet-dominating,
body-constituting,
thirst-slaking,
force of nature,
I love the way you
slip down my throat,
and refresh, re-hydrate
and renew like no other
liquid form on earth.
I am sated and alert.
