Learning to soar...

Ripples of a Positive Thought – Combo poem one

Jesus got up one day
a little later than usual
“I’m not the first to stand
on a hillock”, he said
“I recently killed my father”
this is the best of
all possible worlds

you are the dream
of many ancestors
who are open to trade
and DIY
but make the rebels pay

it ain’t what you do
with only a dollar to spare
for I have lived with thieves
in Manchester and skimmed
flat stones in Moss Side

take it easy,
then your heart will sing
and your body
will swing in the breezy day
