there was a young man called Stan
who bought everything fit for a man
he squeezed it all into place
whilst stuffing his face
and said I think I need a new plan

he went to the estate agent on the hight street
and explained he needed more inches and feet
his place was too small
it wouldn’t do at all
he hardly had room enough to eat

eventually he moved to a new house
big enough for him and pet mouse
he soon filled it up
and kept spilling his cup
as there was now no room for a louse

a large warehouse was then bought
with cupboards and shelves for the lot
he beavered away
through both night and day
and now everything’s neat in its spot
